The petitioner proposes to investigate the molecular processes of protein misfolding to advance therapeutic strategies for neurodegenerative disorders, cancer, and diabetes. His work focuses on identifying how aberrant protein structures can be corrected or leveraged to design cost-effective treatment platforms grounded in structural biochemistry.
